The kings of digital print came up with another winner this season: Matisse-inspired, multicoloured patterns ran riot down the runway, proving most effective in the sharper silhouettes. Certain pieces were highly reminiscent of the cut and print of traditional kimonos, and when paired with a matte, blood red lip and high wooden wedges, lent a modern-day geisha feel. Not for the faint of heart, these bold looks nonetheless were breathtakingly beautiful and would very easily become wearable in a real life context if mixed with more neutral separates.
