The polo shirt is a transcending garment that remains as a staple for most. This spring designers gave it a new definition as the season for polos seems to pass us fast or not pass as at all. Prada kept it fun and light with a colorful printed design, true for any golfer-risktaker.  Lacoste and Tommy Hilfiger (both known for polos in their DNA) created  a young prepster feel for women. Lacoste kept its tennis heritage, while still reinventing it in a luxe silhouette. Raf Simons added a buckle to where we would never foresee one.  Then Kris Van Assche made the polo the key item in his collection and young once again.

Film | The Monk

From Director Dominik Moll (Lemming), The Monk is based on a gothic novel by 18th Century writer Matthew Gregory and showcases some serious European acting talent. The film stars France’s actor du jour, Vincent Cassel, and Belgian actress, Deborah François, who’s definitely one to watch – she won a César (France’s equivalent to the Oscars) for best newcomer in 2009.
