Making his debut in the industry in Spring 2011, Lowell’s ascent through the ranks has been swift. Scouted by mother agency, Mode in Canada, the once lifeguard has gone from meager beginnings of walking 2 shows in his first season to walking for Prada, Jil Sander, Neil Barrett, Lanvin, Thom Browne, Simon Spurr, and YSL among other shows, in addition to bookending the Miharayasuhiro show.
With such a jump there was no surprise when Lowell started booking a slew of editorials. Racking up spreads in Sportswear International, Dazed and Confused, Grit, Interview, and Acne Paper. The fact that his angular face was not only for the runway was immediately made for the entire industry to see.
The next natural step was campaign work. For Fall 2011, the Soul Artist MGMT repped model blew it out of the water with multiple campaigns for Topman, as well a campaign for Marc by Marc Jacobs and Lanvin.
