Born on 20th December 1942, Fred Ward is a talented actor and producer. Fred debuted in 1973 and since then, he has been a prominent star of the showbiz industry. He stands 5 feet 9 inches tall; has brown eyes, and grayish-black hair. In 1965, he married Carla Evonne Stewart but they got divorced a year later. After that, he married Silvia Ward and after having a son with her, they got divorced as well. The third time, he married it was with Marie-France Boisselle. They married in 1995. His third wife filed for divorce in 2013 but they patched up later. 

Fred Ward Early Life 

Fred Ward was born in San Diego, California whereas he is of Cherokee descent. The majority of the fans may not know this but Fred has served in US Air Force for three years before acting. Over and above, he has been a boxer, lumberjack, janitor, and short-order cook as well.

Fred studied acting at Herbert Berghof Studio in New York. He shifted his focus towards acting and modeling after his time in Air Force.

Until now, Fred Ward has worked in around about 90 films and tv series. He started his journey in 1973 when he appeared in The Age of the Medici. Fred has worked in various films including Escape from Alcatraz, Southern Comfort, The Right Stuff, The Player, Swing Shift, Short Cut, Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins, Tremors, and Henry & June.

The last time he appeared on the big screen was when he played the role of Eddie Velcoro in True Detective (2015).

He hasn’t been acting for the last five years but he has produced multiple film and tv series projects.
